NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) – Trina Solar Ltd. Wednesday said it entered into a long-term polysilicon supply agreement with a unit of GCL Silicon Technology Holdings in which GCL will provide Trina with about 2,600 megawatts of solar modules in aggregate over eight years. Deliveries will begin in April at predetermined prices. Financial terms weren’t disclosed, but Trina said the terms were „favorable.“ Shares of Trina closed Tuesday at $32.75.
